Group Finance Manager

Orka Financial is working with an Educational Group based in Maidenhead to recruit a Group Finance manager who can come in and lead the day to day running of the finance function. Reporting to the Group Finance Director the successful candidate will manage an experienced and well tenured team whilst taking on a broad, hands on finance role.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for day-to-day management of the finance function
- Team management
- Oversite of the month end process and monthly management accounts preparation
- Assist the Group Finance Director with the preparation of the annual budget for the group and individual departments
- Assist the Group Finance Director with cashflow monitoring to ensure adequate liquidity and funding for site operations
- Responsible for the preparation of the annual audit, from the planning stage through to the field work and to assist with the preparation of the Financial Statements
- Responsible for the quarterly VAT return
- Responsible for the on-going development and process improvement of the finance systems and integration with wider reporting systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with the finance function
- Responsible for the provision of comprehensive financial controls

Salary:

£50,000 - £57,500 + Generous holiday allowance & excellent pension
