Group Financial Controller
Social Care Charity.
Up to £80,000.
North London

We are a newly merged charity that supporting people , and their families , with learning difficulties and autism . We offer a wide range of services throughout education, employment opportunities and supported living.

We are seeking a group financial controller to lead the finance team through the merger transition period and into the future.

Principle responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership management and oversight of all accounting functions , delivering an effective reporting structure and the right financial control environment.
  • Operating as an impactful business partner contributing to the success of the organisation and meeting customer demand.
  • Managing the external financial environment, including the external audit and other statutory financial statements ;oversight of the organisations, cash flow and investments and the maintenance of good relationships with bankers and investment managers.

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of managing a finance team and wider financial leadership. We are open to applications from a variety of industry sectors although experience of working in social care or social housing is an advantage.
