Group Accountant

We are partnering a global professional services and solutions business with their search for a Head Office Group Accountant.

A PE backed business, they have a rapid growth trajectory and are looking for ambitious and career driven people to join their team.

As part of their global accounting function for the Group the role will include preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, management, and statutory accounts, along with technical finance accounting activities. This role is primarily focused on Group-related accounting, including Pensions, Leases, IFRS2, IFRS9 and is responsible for the Head Office recharges globally.

Candidates will either have relevant Group accounting experience or have a background in professional practice and be seeking either their first or 2nd move into commerce. We’re seeking a fully qualified candidate (or nearly qualified with relevant experience) who has good knowledge of IFRS and of UK VAT with strong Excel, partnering and communication skills. Candidates should offer strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be collaborative in nature and keen to join a fast-paced, busy team!
