Group Accountant | Central London | £60-70k

Exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a Group Accountant role at a well known media and entertainment business with a supportive culture opportunity for growth.

My client is a well known media and entertainment business who is looking to expand their leading finance function by adding a Group Accountant to the team. This is a fantastic role for a qualified accountant who has at least 1 year post qualified experience in a medium sized media and entertainment business.

The Role

The Group Accountant will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to produce monthly consolidated accounts, establishing and implementing group accounting, reporting and control policies and assisting with external audits.

Working closely with the group entities on monthly reporting and accounting, you will need strong communication skills to ensure that all stakeholders are receiving the information they require in a succinct, reviewable manner.

Your experience within a medium to large, complex organisations will enable you to bring knowledge of best in class controls and processes which you will continually develop.

In this role, you will also be supporting the budgeting and forecasting process and monitoring variances.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 1 year post qualified experience. Ideally, you have developed your accounting knowledge working in a media/ entertainment/ studio based business and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Location

Based in Central London with work from home flexibility.
