Group Accountant

Group Financial Accountant | Merseyside | £40,000 - £50,000

Castlefield are working with a housing association based in Merseyside in order to recruit a Group Accountant on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role in the production and audit of the year end financial statements for all group companies and be the lead for the implementation of projects relating to financial accounts. They have hybrid working arrangements in place.

Role:
Delivering the preparation and delivery of the Groups external financial reporting

Responsibilities;

• To effectively manage the production of monthly and annual reporting
• Producing statutory accounts and act as key liaison with external audit.
• Preparing of monthly cash flow forecasts
• Produce Value for Money reporting and analysis with a view to identifying cost efficiencies Seeking to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of financial operations
• Managing the preparation and submission of tax returns 

Person:

The successful Financial Accountant will be:

• CCAB/CIMA qualification is preferred
• Experience within social housing would be preferred
• Availability to start immediately would be preferred
