A opportunity has arisen to work with a international leader in the art and luxury goods market. Based in Central London we are looking for a Finalist/Newly Qualified finance professional to join the business on a 9–12-month maternity fixed term contract.
  
The group accountant will be operating within the group function this role will suit someone with a strong technical background, but ideally some commercial exposure and ability to provide management information to the senior leadership team.
  
Responsibilities are listed out below, but you will fundamentally be focused of producing consolidated group accounts, driving accounting policies and providing the SLT with insights and information to enable strategic decision making.
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to):
  • Preparation of the quarterly consolidation, reports & reviews. 
  • Assist with the half-year and full year statutory reporting in accordance with FRS102 including liaising with external auditors.
  • Other ad hoc duties including group intercompany control, reconciliation of Group Finance to Management Information P&L, group FX analysis and ads hoc reporting for SLT.
  • Preparation and review of the yearly statutory financial statements for UK entities (inc dormant and holding companies).
  
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Experience of both technical and commercial/management accounting.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (Will consider Finalist candidates)
  • Proven consolidation experience including use of consolidation system.
  • Strong in fundamentals of FRS102 (UK GAAP). IFRS also desirable.

  • £45-55,000 + Benefits
  • 9-12 months (Maternity Cover)
