An excellent role an offer for a Groundworker looking to join a market leading company where you will work for a well-established company, whilst undergoing full training to become a fully qualified fibre optics engineer.

Do you have a full driving license and enjoy hands-on work? Have you got a fibre or telecoms background? Are you looking for full training and development within the Telecoms industry?

This company specialise in the high-quality communication networks that connect millions of properties across the UK. They have recently signed a contract worth over £100m to install their services across Southern England. They have ambitious plans to continue their growth and are now looking to recruit a Groundworker they can train and develop into becoming a qualified fibre optics engineer.

You will be fully trained on their specialist equipment before moving into a role that includes inspecting for cables or pipe mains and then blowing of fibre. You will be field based covering Bristol and surrounding to ensure that this project is completed.

The ideal candidate will be a Groundworker who is looking to work for a well-established , who is looking for full training to become a fully qualified fibre optics engineer.

The Role:

Groundworker Role
Full training provided
Blowing of fibre and other infrastructure
Ducting and checking for cables and main pipelines
£26,000 + Overtime (OTE: £42,000+) + Full Training provided + Progression + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

Full driving license
Keen on practical, hands-on work
Happy to travel
