Grounds Maintenance Operative required

Contract Type:                    Temp to Perm

Location:                  Birmingham

Rate of Pay:              Dependant on experience

Venn Group are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work in Birmingham, this role may involve travelling across sites

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Service planned maintenance service for defined sites ensuring pre-agreed performance criteria are met
  • Maintaining green areas across trust grounds
  • Working alongside other contractors
  • Maintenance of edges
  • Removal of litter and debris
  • Maintenance of hedges
  • Maintaining flower beds & planters
  • Ground clearance

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Relevant Qualifications (C&G or Equivalent to level 2 or level 3) i.e use of horticultural equipment e.g chemical application, (PA1,2,6) chainsaws etc
  • Previous significant experience within a Grounds Maintenance role
