An exciting opportunity has come up in the West Kent area for a Graduate Trainee Tax/VAT Analyst to join a very reputable consultancy-based organisation. This role offers a bright, ambitious graduate the opportunity to specialise in a professional and niche market arena. My client is a reputable specialist within their field, and they have an opening for a Graduate with high expectations, good communication skills, and someone who is mathematically minded with good analytical skills, and attention to detail. You will work in a team of specialists and full training will be provided. You will need to display flexibility and ambition and be capable of working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

The organisation will support you in further studies to gain your VAT Diploma. You will work with a team, in a friendly and focused environment where you will need to be able to work independently to deadlines. You will be trained and supported. The role requires strong ITC skills predominately in Excel, an analytical approach, attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate and key information to their clients. You will need to have the ability to work with data, interpret information on spreadsheets, merge data, and analyse the information. You will be required to collect data from clients and liaise with a variety of external stakeholders. Your aim is to be able to support your clients and identify ways in which they can make efficiencies regarding their indirect tax/VAT.

You will be a graduate with a relevant degree with a minimum of a 2.1. You must have achieved A' Levels with a minimum of B's across the board and strong GCSE grades. In turn, you will have the opportunity to develop and progress within the organisation and be offered a competitive salary package including a year-end bonus, health insurance and pension.

They offer Hybrid working, 3 days office/2 days WFH. Initially, you will be required to work at least 3 days in the office during your training period. It is essential that you have a driving license and a car.
