Fantastic new opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants, in their team based in Harrogate.
This firm offer a full range of accountancy, tax, and audit services for their wide range of clients. There is room for you to progress and grow with this firm as they add to their expanding team.

About the role (full training provided):

  • Preparation of statutory year end accounts.
  • Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Conduct audit fieldwork both onsite and in the office.
  • Perform bookkeeping duties when required.
  • Working within a team and reporting to managers when appropriate.


About the candidate:

  • Suitable for someone who is an A-level / School leaver or a recent University Graduate, looking for a full-time, permanent position.
  • Minimum of grades B and above at GCSE and A-level and/or 2:1 or above in a University Degree.
  • Be confident and comfortable with client contact as this role will require you to speak with clients.
  • Be eager to learn and progress with the firm, both professionally and through your studies.
