Start Date: September 2023
Duration: Full-time, Long-term (Until the end of the academic year)
Salary Range: £80.00 - £100.00 per day (Dependent on experience)

About Us:

Our vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark is seeking dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • A valid DBS on the update service
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' lives
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require extra assistance
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contributing to the development of engaging learning resources
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
