Graduate Teaching Assistant

About the role:This teaching assistant role is based in a two-form entry community Primary School with a friendly, inclusive staff body based in Morden, Merton. They are looking to recruit a coachable quick learner for the role of Teaching Assistant.

Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

Helping with the delivery of lessons

Supporting pupils in relation to their educational and behavioural development
-
Preparing classroom resources
-
Helping with extracurricular activities (e.g. revision sessions)
-
Prepared to work 5 days per week
This is a great role for someone who is looking to take their first steps into an exciting and rewarding career in education. The school is a relatively small two-form entry school rated Good by Ofsted and particularly renowned for making the students feel included with a student ambassador program, a student council and a green team made up of students.
The ideal candidate:-
A Level 2 or 3 CACHE certification

Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their academic potential

Proficient numeracy and literacy skills

Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
