Are you graduate looking to kickstart your career within a well-established construction company who offer full training to manage construction costs for high profile projects from initial calculations to the final figures, with a clear progression structure to senior roles?

In this varied role you will be provided with full training to become a Quantity Surveyor playing an integral role in minimising the cost and risk of construction projects whilst ensuring statutory building regulations are met. You will play an essential role in advising clients from initial conception to completion and corresponding with contractors to give up to date project costs to clients.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious graduate looking to start their career within a prestigious company who will provide you with comprehensive training so you can be a successful member of the quantity surveyor team.

The Role:

  • Regular site visitation- Local patch
  • Clear progression structure to senior roles
  • Review and ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions
  • Attend site as required and ensure commercial compliance is being followed
  • Ensure applications and invoices are issued on time, accurate and in adherence to the contract terms
  • Commercially manage change events for a successful outcome
  • Review any debtors and assist the credit control team with any outstanding payments
  • Monthly reporting of WIP and Cost Value Reports
  • Review of weekly operational reports for commercial tracking
  • Sourcing site materials and obtaining best prices whilst creating and maintaining good relationships with suppliers

The Person:

  • Aspiring Quantity Surveyor
  • Degree in Construction or similar
  • Full Driving Licence
