We’re looking for a graduate with 1-3 years experience in a Content Marketing Manager role with PR responsibilities, who has an understanding of the entire PR process - writing, outreach, post-publishing (reporting). Do you have the experience and knowledge? Speak to Caroline @ Duval!

Managing a team of talented copywriters and a social media executive, you will work collaboratively across teams closely including marketing, R&D and sales. Alongside a team of wicker marketers, you'll be responsible for strategising and implementing industry-leading content to present this business as a thought leader in their sector.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ideating, creating and editing content across digital marketing channels (e.g. email, website copy, newsletter, ads) and occasionally offline channels, alongside your team
  • Creating and managing the editorial calendar to align with business objectives
  • Creating press releases and securing publications in external media around employment legislation and updates
  • Working closely with the sales/product/CS teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Monitoring PR & Content coverage, and reporting on their success and commercials
  • Growing our coverage on comparator and influential sites
  • Working with our customers to create advocacy content
  • Partnering with in-house subject matter experts to develop content in a variety of formats - from blog posts and emails to infographics, videos, and more
  • Helping develop standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiency and optimisation in your team
  • Staying on top of content marketing trends and bringing new ideas to explore and test
  • Creating a social media content plan with the social executive

Skills and experience required:

  • 1-3 years experience in a Content Manager role, or similar, with PR responsibility
  • Must have people management experience - ideally managed junior content execs/ copywriters and social execs before
  • Experience in PR is absolutely essential
  • Background in B2B/ SaaS is very much preferred
  • Good understanding of compelling content with a commercial angle and goal in mind
  • A strong creative mindset, but with a commercial understanding of using content to drive sales
  • A thinker and a doer mindset - excited about driving strategy while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to write and edit content in a variety of formats
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
