Graduate Paraplanner

My client, a market leading financial planning team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join their team as a Paraplanner. As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with the Financial Advisors assisting in providing high-quality financial planning services to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in the financial industry, particularly in the technical aspects of paraplanning. Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in conducting comprehensive reviews and analysis of clients' financial situations, goals, and objectives
• Collaborate with Financial Advisors to develop customized financial plans and investment strategies that align with clients' needs
• Perform in-depth research and analysis of investment options, insurance plans, and other financial products to support recommendations
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow projections, retirement planning analysis, and risk management assessments
• Assist in preparing investment proposals and client presentations
• Liaise with clients, investment managers, and other professionals to gather necessary information and ensure smooth implementation of financial plans
• Keep up-to-date with industry changes, new legislation, and best practices to provide accurate and current financial advice
• Provide general administrative support to the Financial Advisors, such as maintaining client records and handling client inquiries

Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Passionate about personal finance and eager to learn and grow in the industry
