We are in search of a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Learning Support Assistant to provide essential support to students within a secondary school environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be pivotal in aiding students to reach their full potential through individualised and small group assistance.
Day to day of the role:
• Offer targeted individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist teachers in the development and execution of lesson plans.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Support student learning and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and fellow teachers to promote student achievement.
• Help administer assessments and tests, ensuring a supportive testing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• The ability to connect with students from diverse ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction and support.
• The capacity to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
• A passion for assisting students with special needs and a dedication to their educational success.
