My client, a specialist, UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Hydrologist based in Bristol.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Geography, Hydrology, Flood Risk or Civil Engineering and ideally experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments or hydrological assessments.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing hydraulic modelling using flood modeller and Tuflow or EIA Chapters.

This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join an innovative Flood Risk Team based in Bristol. You will have the opportunity to complete varied Hydrological, Drainage, Surface Water, Flood Risk and GIS Mapping Projects for Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities.

As a Graduate Hydrologist you will be required to complete technical work including;

Flood Risk Assessments.

Drainage Strategies and Design.

GIS Mapping using QGIS.

Drainage Impact Assessments.

EIA Chapters.

Hydraulic Modelling using flood modeller and Tuflow.

Hydrological Assessments.
