My client is is an international data and technology consultancy with £154m turnover and 1100 employees.

We are looking for a Logistics Systems Consultant who will join the Logistics Solutions Group and contribute to the delivery of logistics projects , software solutions, deliver and design solutions that help our clients optimise their logistics operations in an age when logistics is an increasingly important market. This wide-ranging role will require you to deliver innovative and pragmatic solutions using our state-of-the-art software solutions, data and technology.

Responsibilities :

  • Developing and maintaining expertise in Logistics software solutions, including Pin Routes, Pin Supply Chain and Truckstops
  • Working closely with the Commercial team to manage client relationships
  • Working with software solutions on multifaceted projects and be able to present complex results to a non technical audience
  • Undertaking work on behalf of our clients involving the analysis and manipulation of data
  • Working with clients to implement software solutions and help build capacity within their teams
  • Implementing our logistics solutions both on-site and remotely
  • Devising innovative ways to configure solutions to meet clients’ objectives
  • Delivering training to clients via face to face or online courses
  • Providing detailed, accurate and pragmatic on-line and telephone support to resolve client enquiries

Requirements :

  • Educated to at least degree level in a relevant subject, e.g. Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, GIS, Geography, Mathematics or similar
  • A strong communicator
  • Experience using Python and PowerBI
  • Proven capability to deliver analytical solutions either in a consultancy environment or through a logistics/supply chain function
  • Have a curiosity and passion for maps, GIS, logistics, data, technology, and innovatio
  • An appreciation of data and how this can support logistics operation
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
