Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

This is a great opportunity for a recent geology, geography, environmental science or geotechnical engineering graduate to join a team of ground investigation specialists in Edinburgh. With a huge variety of ground investigation projects to work on, this is the perfect role to apply your educational knowledge to and kick start your career.


As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be working on a variety of ground investigation projects both on site and in the office. You will be:

  • Overseeing ground investigations.
  • Borehole logging and coring.
  • Factual and interpretive report writing.
  • Complying with health and safety practices.
  • Liaising with team members.
  • Focussing on training opportunities.


The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position you should:


- Have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering.
- Have a keenness to develop skills and work in all environments outdoors.
- Live in Edinburgh.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (travelling to site will be essential).
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
