Are you a recent geology, environmental science or physical geography graduate with an interest in ground investigation and contaminated land positions? A geotechnical and environmental consultancy based near the South of London (Epsom) and with multiple offices across the UK are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate. You'll be joining a specialist team on a huge variety of ground investigation and environmental projects - an excellent first position for a graduate to develop career defining skills.

The graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. These include carrying out ground investigations, assisting with site walkovers, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out soil and rock logging, trial pitting, carrying out phase 1 desk studies and observing day to day tasks in contribution to training.

To be considered for this Gradate Geotechnical Engineer role you must:

• Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geography, environmental management, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Hold a full UK Driving licence.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
• Live commutable to Epsom and surrounding areas.
• Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
• Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
