My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive Water Team based in Nottingham.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Flood Risk, Environmental Management, Geography and have a keen interest in flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and water resources.

This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join a supportive team based in Nottingham. You will have the opportunity to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies for residential and commercial pre-planning projects.

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be trained to complete technical work including;

Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

Drainage Strategies

Detailed drainage design using Microdrainage.

Nutrient Neutrality Assessments

Watercourse and Discharge Consents

Water Resource Assessments.

Flood Estimation

Flood Risk Mapping.
