Are you a recent finance graduate eager to kick-start your career? I'm working with a market leading Hospitality and Catering business in the city of Preston who are looking for a Graduate Finance Assistant.

As the Graduate Finance Assistant, your role will sit within the Accounts Receivable function and you will play a crucial part in maintaining the smoothness of their finance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing Refunds and Chargebacks
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations of Card Payments and Refunds
  • Evaluating and Reducing Fraud
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Posting Monies onto Ledger and Allocating Correctly Against Bookings
  • Following Escalation Process for Bookings Not Paid to Terms

To Be considered for this role:

  • Previous experience in banking or balance sheet reconciliations is preferred but not essential.
  • Recently graduated or graduating from a finance related degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to work toward targets.
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships with customers and colleagues.
