Job title: GPS Trade & Supply Chain Product Manager-Interim

The individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Supply Chain Finance and Trade Receivables Finance product sets.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

· Help drive revenue and net income growth in Supply Chain Finance, which has been identified as a strategic growth area for the global GPS Trade business, and wider GPS business.

· Full Product responsibilities including optimising P&L, driving operational efficiencies, management of risk (both reporting and remediation)

· Give SME support to both product innovation workstreams, and sales teams eg in support of large RFPs or new client solutions

· Gain significant exposure to senior business partners and leaders in EMEA across Trade, GPS Sales, and Corporate Banking

· Significant exposure to holistic working capital solutions within wider set of treasury products and how they fit with client objectives.

Responsibilities

· Bring a strong product management discipline to the GTS EMEA Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance product set.

· Build strong linkages with global product team and regional product peers to ensure alignment and global consistency across the product set.

· Actively own and manage the product P&L for the EMEA Supply Chain capabilities, ensuring focus on responsible revenue growth and strategic cost reduction.

· Provide senior support for Supply Chain deal selection/approval, structuring of complex solutions, pricing and assessment of product/client suitability.

· Work closely with Trade Sales, GPS Sales, Corporate Banking, Wholesale Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to drive profitable growth while enforcing risk discipline/awareness.

· Ensure full compliance with global, regional, and local in-country regulatory and compliance requirements for Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance. Align with wider GTS Trade team to ensure ongoing regulatory changes impacting the trade business are implemented successfully.

· Continuously benchmark solution set versus key competitors and 3rd party technology providers. Ensure strong flow of competitive and market information into the Trade and wider GTS team to facilitate product enhancement.

· Provide senior support for key client pitches and RFPs?, and champion best practice in working capital management conversations.

Competencies we look for

· Strong background in product management in a trade finance context, particularly Supply Chain Finance and working capital management.

· Experience in influencing peers, juniors and senior leadership

· Proven track record in client management and ability to operate in a client-centric manner.

· Strong grasp of critical principles of risk management, credit risk, and compliance / anti-money laundering.

· Customer centric approach balancing risk, profitability and responsible growth.

· Strong relationship management skills - internal and external

· Strong communication skills, both written and oral

· Well-developed presentational skills to both internal stakeholders and external clients

· Numerate with strong ability to manage financials.

· A self-starter who can also work with other interdependent groups.

· Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline orientated environment.
