We are ADI Leak Detection, the UK's market leader in non-invasive leak detection.  We are the pioneers of this field, finding and fixing leaks throughout the country for over a decade.

We have identified a demand for GPR surveys to complement our core services and are now seeking an experienced and ambitious GPR technician to lead our expansion into this field. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of GPR technology, experience conducting GPR surveys, and be adept at downloading the data into interpretable 3D format.

We have invested in some of the most robust equipment in this industry, including the LMX200, the Esafe, and the latest drone-based GPR solutions. We believe that drone-based solutions, in particular, will give us the edge over our competitors, enabling us to survey vast areas of uneven and rough terrain with ease.

Having become the market leader in water leak detection, we believe we are more than capable of entering this market. We have the sales, marketing, and operational infrastructure; we just need your brains!

About the Role

The majority of your work will be geared towards tracing pipework and mapping out hidden utilities to plan pipe replacements and general construction work. However, the use cases of GPR Services extend to archaeology, sinkhole location, and everything else in between.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site data acquisition using the GPR equipment
  • Data processing using radar software
  • Preparing final reports using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

 Required Experience:

  • Proficient in the whole process of utility surveys, desktop and field-based
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or better
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in utilities location/mapping

Required Skills:

  • Positive attitude and good customer service - this role will be client-facing
  • Adaptable and versatile - it's very likely that no two days will be the same
  • Problem-solving, 'think outside the box' mindset - this is the most recent development within our company, and we will need your input on how to build a streamlined business process around it
  • Driving licence and right to work in the UK
  • Fluent English language skills

Desirable Requirements:

  • Own van
  • Drone licence
