We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Business Development Tender Executive to join our clients growing team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a financial background who is eager to support their Business Development team. Or someone who has experience in an internal Business Development position who is looking for something different. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer engagement skills, the ability to negotiate tenders meticulously, and the capacity to build strong rapport with a diverse audience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist with the maintenance of the business development sales pipeline.
- Support the preparation of financial models for new opportunities, including new services, contract renewals, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for the preparation and management of notarized documents for tender submissions.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Project Manager to collect information on target countries and current opportunities.
- Gather competitor and market intelligence for reporting purposes.
- Manage bid and performance bond requests and maintain a bond register, ensuring continual communication and updates on any changes.
- Maintain power of attorney register and perform regular reconciliations to records held by the Company Secretariat team.
- Provide support to the Government & Trade Services Business Development Project Manager and Business Development Bid Manager.
- Engage in other ad hoc duties as required.
- Financial background or Business Development background is essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of financial modelling is ideal.
- Language skills are advantageous, with a preference for Arabic, French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
- Understanding of Import/Export processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Assurance, Testing, Inspection & Certification (ATIC) Industry is advantageous.
