Goods In Warehouse Operative

A brilliant opportunity is available for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a well established Electrical Distribution company in Central Southampton.

This is a temp to perm role to start ASAP. Working hours Mon-Thu 8.00-17.00 and Fri 08.00-16.30, paying £12.00ph.

The main purpose of this role is to work in the busy Goods In department checking all stock that comes in is correct and entered onto the system and stacked away in the right location.

Main Duties:

• Checking stock that comes through Goods In is correct and signed for
• Booking stock
• Putting stock away in right location
• Warehouse duties: Order picking / packing
• Entering data and notes onto computer system
• Speaking with sales team, delivery drivers and accounts to discuss any errors or discrepancies
• Must have good attention to detail and previous Goods In experience
