Position Overview:
The Goods In Inspector plays a crucial role in the quality assurance process by meticulously inspecting incoming goods and materials to ensure they meet the clients standards of excellence. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in the use of various hand tools for measurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections of incoming goods and materials to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools such as micrometres, verniers, callipers, rulers, and other measuring devices to accurately measure dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct visual inspections to detect any defects, damages, or irregularities in materials.
  • Record inspection results and maintain detailed documentation of findings.
  • Communicate any non-conformances or quality issues to the appropriate personnel for further evaluation and resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inspection and quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools such as micrometres, verniers, callipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to upholding quality standards and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the inspection area for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects
  • Manual dexterity and coordination for operating hand tools and performing detailed inspections.

Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am, - 4.30pm
Friday 7:30am, - 12:30pm
