I’m working with a Casino, Bingo and Gaming brand based in London who are looking to add a Paid Social Manager to the Performance Marketing team, this is a new addition to the team due to an increased demand. They had a great 2023 and this role is an expansion role focused on growing their customer base on a global basis, they are currently in multiple regions such as the UK, EU, US and South America. This role will be responsible for Paid Social campaigns global with a budget of around 5 million a year. There is already a team 2 in place but they have several roles in the planning stage that could increase the team to 4. They currently have agency support for multiple regions so they will look to you to support on the global acquisition strategy

The brand is a well-established player in the online gaming world, over the last couple of years, they have developed a loyal customer base who engages with the way they do business. They are looking to  hire a Paid Social Manager to focus on their most critical channel. The Performance Marketing team act as an internal agency and works with stakeholders around the world to define and deliver performance marketing plans. They have a multi-million-pound budget focused on the UK, Spain, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, and plans to enter many new markets.

The role is going to be focused on the strategic aspects of Paid Social they have an agency retained on a global basis so this role is going to be focused on driving results and eking out the inches for each region. Outside of the day-to-day management of Paid Social campaigns, the role will also have the opportunity to get involved with the wider digital marketing strategy and work directly with the Head of Digital Marketing to increase customer conversions globally. They have just finished a restructure so they are looking for an aspiring leaders who wants to build a team around them.

The role is based in London and will be required to be in the office three days a week for team-related collaboration. The client has a no video call rule so anytime you’re in the office it will be for something team-related not a Zoom call in a new location.

Role responsibilities:

  • Help create campaigns on paid social channels, handling creative publishing, targeting and budget management.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing and marcomms/creative teams to produce creative assets including visual images and video plus copywriting.
  • Build a weekly report of results, which will also feed into monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Measure campaigns in line with CPA and CLV targets. This includes bottom-of-funnel customer acquisition campaigns and higher funnel campaigns which are evaluated on softer metrics.
  • Liaise with data side of the marketing team to ensure tracking is set-up optimally. Implement tracking links and landing pages to ensure all published ads are fully functional.
  • Absorb overseas market nuances and understand how different cultures and audience behaviours feed into marketing strategies beyond the UK.
  • Review competitor paid social ads for inspiration and insights related to what you do and present quarterly insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Be willing to test out new ideas in ads – creative or practical!
  • Contribute to meetings on assets and results you manage directly.



The Paid Social Manager role requires the following experience: 

  • Experience managing paid social campaigns.
  • Knowledgeable running paid media activity, understanding importance of the user journey and landing pages with grasp of key metrics and overall campaign measurement.
  • Ability to plan, build and execute a paid media campaign with guidance on hand if needed.
  • Understanding of digital tracking, measurement and reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of marketing platforms (Meta/X/Twitter)
  • Good understanding of iGaming product – role of operator in relation to target audience, grasp of legal compliance and promotional T&Cs on marketing material.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products to report results – Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Able to apply logic reports and present naturally.
  • Ability to work reliably in a busy team – build relationships with members of teams internally and any external agencies.
  • Confident, seeks initiative and bold to try new things.
