Global IT Procurement Manager

  • Hybrid, 2x per week in the central London office
  • Package- £70K-£85K base depending on experience

A leading global data centre is looking for a Global IT Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The roles purpose is to oversee the procurement, sourcing, and management of IT-related products and services globally.

You will be responsible for implementing effective procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with IT Suppliers to meet the businesses technology needs.

Responsibilities:

Supplier Management

  • Create relationships with strategic IT and MSP Suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and other terms with IT Suppliers.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement (contractual, financial, and operational risks)
  • Ensure that all IT procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Contract Management:

  • Creation and management of contracts for IT products and services.

Experience

  • Procurement, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
