I'm currently working exclusively with a global carrier on the appointment of a Global Head of Portfolio Oversight for Specialty Risks. Specialty Risks is a core part of our client's business and is written globally, including a significant share on their Lloyd's platform.

The Global Head of Portfolio Oversight will take on a strategic role within Specialty Lines with core responsibilities including:

  • Ensuring consistent quality of underwriting is maintained across all entities
  • Implementation of underwriting strategies and guidelines, ensuring global alignment across the global specialty lines portfolio
  • Identifying and reporting on industry trends and emerging risks
  • Providing thought leadership on specialty lines topics
  • Management of Specialty Lines underwriting roundtable
  • Portfolio performance management
  • Engagement with a variety of stakeholders across the business including product leads, Group CUO's, Pricing, Ceded Re, Wordings, etc

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the global oversight of a large portfolio for a well recognised and respected carrier. We're therefore looking for individuals with a solid track record in influencing senior stakeholders in a portfolio level role, with previous experience within specialty lines.
