Global Head of Influencer Marketing - London - PAYE

Location: London Waterloo (hybrid working - 2/3 days in the office every week)

Duration: 12 months contract

Pay: £53.05/hour PAYE

  • The Global Head of Influencer Marketing will be the strategic lead across all global Influencer and social workstreams.
  • Critical to the role is having a very strong strategic planning skillset, with proven experience of creating data-led social content and Influencer Marketing strategies for a Global brand.
  • Be a thought leader with brand teams, providing guidance that will enable the category markets to succeed when deploying the plans on this channel.
  • Creation of key influencer marketing resources, for example, playbooks and toolkits.
  • This talent will also be focused on piloting new influencer marketing and social content innovations and thinking, implementing programs closely with the key markets, creating repeatable models and driving scale.

  • A specialist in influencer marketing and social content (10 years of experience either at a Global agency and/or in-house),
  • A strategist and a thought leader that leverages their thinking skills to develop strong strategies and POVs on Influencer Marketing and social and anticipate where these disciplines will go.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design & implement data-led Influencer Marketing strategies - full year as well as brand & project-based and help define the role IM will play in the marketing efforts of the brands your work with
  • Partner with the Global VP to lead the engagement model transformation to fit with updated social ecosystem & its implementation across top markets
  • Drive Influencer marketing plans in partnership with brand teams, the Business Units and the local markets.
  • Pilot the Influencer Marketing new thinking with the key markets, implement the influencer programs closely with them and drive scale.
  • Develop a clear methodology to measure (key performance and brand metrics, KPIs etc) all social influencer campaigns and/or pilots to enable a repeatable and consistent model across the business group.
  • Analyse the end of each campaign and pilot to understand the performance, coming back to the campaign objectives and business goals, and identifying successes and areas for improvement for the brands and the business group.
  • Work with media teams and mindshare to deliver paid boosting at scale across the business group ensuring we have the right processes in place for all campaigns.
  • Provide strategic counsel when it comes to all Influencer marketing and social content related activity.
  • Be responsible for training and up-skilling extended influencer marketing team brand teams and create key brand Influencer marketing playbooks and other related training and/or guidance resources.
  • Manage the influencer network of agencies with procurement that will work with to design Influencer marketing and social media plans and support markets in identifying their local network of agencies.
  • Brief and work with agencies as needed to execute - with clarity on the R&R between in- house team and agencies.
  • Identify local best practices and turn them into repeatable models.

Key Skills

  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Excellent Senior Stakeholder management with proven experience within a large organisation or large agency.
  • Strong data analytical mindset and analytics understanding, with experience of social listening, analytics, and community management tools, (e.g., Brand Watch, Traackr etc)
  • Social Influence & channel management & in-depth knowledge of the Influencer marketing and social media landscape, knowing how to build, maintain, and evaluate influencer and social content across all social channels including the new emerging channels.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Clear understanding of the requirements and demands of an international role.
  • Understands the dynamics of building influencer communities, paid & earned, and managing relationship-based models across both.
  • Strong project management skills: Proven ability to oversee and track multiple projects with various due dates and varying requirements and priorities in a highly challenging environment.
  • Paid social knowledge is critical.
  • Good influencing skills and strong proven networking abilities.
  • Team player. Keeps a balance between personal accountability and delivery through teamwork.
