Are you looking for a six-month, hybrid role offering a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project management? Are you poised to steer global business development within a leading London university? Signature Recruitment is on the hunt for an Interim Global Business Development Project Manager to join our client’s Business Development team. Hybrid working allows two days on campus weekly with Tuesday as a dedicated team day. Early starts at 8am are required on some days due to collaborations with South-East Asia.

As the Interim Global Business Development Project Manager, you will be instrumental in forging international partnerships that align with the university’s objectives. Your role will encompass leading educational and research consultancy projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet project specifications and outcomes. Additionally, you will perform market analysis to scout for new opportunities in international collaboration and development, and provide expert leadership in negotiations to secure successful global partnerships. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, relationship management, and the coordination of events, all aimed at expanding the university's global presence and impact.

Global Business Development Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute strategies for identifying and managing international partnerships in alignment with the university's objectives.
  • Lead the management of education and research consultancy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to pinpoint opportunities for international collaboration.
  • Negotiate and finalise agreements, fostering productive global collaborations.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with academic and research institutions worldwide.
  • Provide support in financial planning, relationship management, report writing, and coordination of events.

Global Business Development Project Manager Key Skills:

  • Proven project management expertise, preferably within the higher education sector.
  • Strong administrative and relationship management skills, with a background in regulatory frameworks or legal knowledge advantageous.
  • Understanding of the higher education environment, with international education experience desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
