Global Brand Experience Designer
FTSE100 FMCG (1-day per week in office - Slough)

Role Summary:
As the Global Brand Experience Design Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing the brand vision to life through innovative design solutions. Acting as the liaison between marketing strategy and design execution, you'll ensure that every creative output reflects their brand ethos and drives business objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
Design Strategy: Collaborate closely with the Global Head of BXD to develop actionable design strategies aligned with the brand vision.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the inhouse design team to deliver exceptional results on all projects.
Project Management: Oversee the timely delivery of design projects, ensuring they meet aesthetic and business goals (from small retouches to range redesigns)
Design Excellence: Advocate for design best practices and operational efficiencies to maximise creative output.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with external suppliers and cross-functional teams to provide design support and insights.
Feedback Mechanism: Provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design trends and technologies, sharing insights with the team.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of design objectives.

Experience and Competencies:

  • 8+ years of design experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role within a corporate design setting or respected design agency.
  • Packaging design experience is essential, along with a portfolio showcasing this.
  • Experience with global brands, demonstrating the ability to adapt designs for diverse markets and audiences.
  • Preference for agency or renowned brand experience, showcasing versatility in design approach and client management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding design teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively presenting ideas and designs to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the latest design tools, software, and methodologies.


You must have an impressive portfolio reflecting deep design knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail.
