German Speaking Legal PA

Our acclaimed US Law Firm client is hiring a German speaking Legal PA on a permanent basis, to join a busy team of Partners, Associates and Paralegals to assist with their German speaking client base. 

Salary to £53,500

Hybrid working 3:2 (office:remote)

Stunning City based location 

In this German speaking Legal PA role you will work the core hours 9:30am to 5:30pm and be responsible for the flow of correspondence and legal documents, client contact and client billing, as well as setting up and maintaining files and records for the department. 

Main duties for this role will also include:

• working efficiently and effectively to meet multiple and critical deadlines
• maintaining cooperative working relationships within office and practice groups
• responding to client, staff, legal professional and vendor inquiries in English and German
• opening, screening and routing mail, drafting correspondence
• monitoring attorney time records to ensure compliance with established deadlines
• complex diary management, making frequent travel arrangements and liaising with the US offices as and when required

Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Legal secretary or Legal PA preferably within a top City law firm - fluency in German (written, reading and speaking) is also essential, along with excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
