German Speaking Credit Controller

As a German Speaking Credit Controller, you will be at the heart of our finance operations.

Your primary responsibility will be managing customer accounts, ensuring that all debts for new and existing customers are collected in line with company policies. You will also play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal colleagues. Y

Your proactive approach to collecting outstanding debt from Germany will help us meet our collection targets and minimise risk. With your help, we aim to continuously improve the number of days debts remain overdue.

• Proactively collect outstanding debt to meet collection targets
• Maintain accurate records on chasing and payment promises
• Assist with the workload of other team members when required
• Drive continuous improvement in the number of days debts remain overdue
• Manage and monitor new customer accounts set up, including setting and controlling credit limits
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal colleagues
• Manage your own portfolio of accounts, ensuring outstanding debts are collected in line with company policy
• Work collaboratively with operational teams across the Group
• Provide assistance to managers on ad hoc projects from time-to-time

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this German Speaking Credit Controller role will bring a wealth of experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable, although this is not essential. You should have experience using accounting software and have a strong working knowledge of MS Excel. We're looking for someone who is proactive, ambitious, and able to manage their workload effectively. Excellent time management and organisational skills are key, as is the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in German is a must.

• Experience working within Credit Control/Accounts Receivable - preferred but not essentia.
• Graduate in any discipline of have equivalent experience
• Experience in using accounting software - preferred but not essential
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - preferred but not essential
• Proactive and ambitious nature
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
• Fluency in German
