Job Title: German Speaking Credit Controller

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Blackburn

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Per annum

Benefits: Bonus

Skills: Native German

Job Duties:
  • Manage and oversee the credit control process for German-speaking clients
  • Communicate with clients in German to ensure timely payments
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Negotiate payment terms and arrangements with clients
  • Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and reminders
  • Update and maintain accurate records of all client interactions
Required Qualifications:
  • Fluency in German (Native level)
  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Education:
  • A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control or a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of credit control principles and practises
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in Credit Management
  • Experience working with international clients
Working Conditions:
  • Office-based role in Blackburn, North West England
  • Standard working hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for occasional travel to meet clients
