We are looking for a skilled German speaker to join our client's dynamic team as a Customer Service and Operations Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to manage inbound business-to-business queries originating from Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a rapidly expanding company!

The annual salary for the role is £24,300. The position is based in Newport, but you would be able to work from home for three days each week.

The Role:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service over the phone and through email while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Be the first point of contact for German-speaking business clients.
  • Liaise with other insurance companies and underwriters in Germany and the UK.
  • Handle all incoming enquiries and correspondence related to quotation requests and insurance claims from Germany
  • Compile case information and update the internal diary system.
  • Prioritise your daily workload and escalate any issues to the senior management team.

The Candidate:

You:

  • Have fluent written and spoken German and fluent English skills.
  • Hold a professional manner, spoken and written.
  • Show attention to detail and enjoy working in a process-driven environment.
  • Possess some office experience.

Location

The company is based in a business park between Newport and Cardiff with easy access from the M4 and is commutable from Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Chepstow, Monmouth and the M4. There is ample parking on site. The role is a hybrid, allowing for three days of remote work.
