We are inviting applications for a part-time Teacher of Geology and Geography from September 2024. The role is initially for two terms, with the possibility of extension. Our client is dedicated to academic excellence and fostering a love for learning.   • Salary: Up to £47,133 (pro-rata for part-time)
  • Location: East Sussex
  • Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (0.6 contract)
  • Contract Term: September 2024
Day to Day of the role of a Geograpy teacher:
  • Teach A-level Geology and Geography, engaging students with innovative lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Contribute to the enrichment programme, enhancing students’ learning experiences beyond the classroom.
  • Organise and lead field trips, both day and residential, to provide practical learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geology and Geography.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and educational excellence.
  • Experience in organising field trips and extracurricular activities is desirable.
  • Open to experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
