Geography & Travel and Tourism Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for a fulfilling teaching opportunity in Grimsby? Look no further! An OFSTED 'good' secondary school is currently seeking a versatile teacher to cover a mixed Geography and Travel and Tourism timetable. This role is to commence in September 2024, and will be until at least May Half Term 2025. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate paid to scale equivalent. Paid weekly you would receive between £769.25 and £1059.80.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons at both Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. You will Geography responsibility up to Key Stage 4, teaching a year 10 group via the AQA syllabubs. Travel and Tourism is following the BTEC Pearson structure, with a focus on supportive coursework.

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
