Tradewind Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary sixth form school in south Birmingham asap.

This full-time position will be until the end of this summer term, potentially from September too. The school welcomes applications from experienced Geography teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). ECT support will be available for a term if needed.

In this role, you'll plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, with full marking and assessment duties as part of your responsibilities. We're seeking an experienced and qualified individual with QTS, QTLS, or Instructor of Geography, possessing strong instructional skills and the ability to teach effectively at the KS3 and KS4 levels.

To be successful:

  • You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • The position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable), and a minimum of two professional reference checks.
  • Ensure your CV provides a comprehensive employment history covering the past 10 years, including any employment breaks, and that you have the legal right to work in the UK.
