Exciting Opportunity for a Long-Term Supply Geography Teacher in Durham!

Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term position? We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious secondary school in Durham as a Supply Geography Teacher. This position, starting in March 2024 and extending through summer2024, offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of the world around them.

The Role:
As a Supply Geography Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mathematical education to students in a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Instilling a love for mathematics through innovative teaching methods and practical applications
- Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborating with fellow Geography Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resources

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Proven experience as a Geography Teacher, dedicated to fostering mathematical understanding
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in mathematics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
