General Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schol

- Salary: £13.21 - 13.43 per hour, depending on experience
- Job Type: Temporary (Full-time, Summer Term)
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Chorley area. This temporary role is set to commence in April 2024 and will last for the duration of the summer term. The successful candidate will be working full-time hours from Monday to Friday, providing general classroom support.
Day to Day of the role:- Monitoring individual targets for pupils’ future progress.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the needs of all pupils.
- Tracking pupils’ progress in accordance with the school’s practices.
- Implementing excellent behaviour management strategies.
- Must possess a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Essential experience working with pupils with SEN/D.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with pupils and adults.
- Ability to monitor and report on pupils’ progress effectively.
- Proven behaviour management skills.
