Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to supporting this globally known retailer in the appointment of a Store Manager for their operation at Brussels Airport.

As Store Manager, you'll lead and inspire your team or 6 managers and 50 colleagues across 6 individual sites to operate a best in class approach in a fast-paced, busy retail environment for a business that can offer fantastic opportunities for career development.

The role:

As an experienced Store Manager, you will take pride in running an outstanding operation and to be an ambassador for our client daily.

  • You will be responsible for driving sales and managing the costs to maximise on the profitability of your store - you'll treat the business as your own.
  • Inspiring the team to make sure every customer has a brilliant experience so wherever your customers are going, you can be sure they will always be happy to come back to our clients stores.
  • Recruit and retain your team, making our client the employer of choice in your market.
  • Coach, guide and create a culture of learning, support, and recognition - spotting opportunities for development of personal skills, product knowledge and self-awareness to support your colleagues in an environment where everyone feels valued and welcome.
  • Creating a sense of pride within the store to ensure both colleagues and customer facilities are of a great standard, and that you are operating safely and legally.
About you:

To be considered for this role you will need to display the following:

A minimum of 3 years experience as a General Store Manager, Area Manager or District Manager.

Proven experience in fast paced FMCG, Travel or Food and Beverage.

Experience of recruiting, developing and leading a team to deliver fantastic store experience.

Experience of managing and controlling your P&L, commercially aware of driving sales and controlling costs to deliver outstanding results.

Experience of dealing with Trade Unions is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be able to speak English Dutch and French.
