An exciting opportunity has just been opened where you will be part of a tight-knit team, working directly with Partners, directors, and managers, providing client focussed and commercially aware services.

You will work with Groups, International and Equity backed businesses in a variety of industries, including but not limited to technology, retail, recruitment, maritime and hospitality.

The position will be audit focussed while getting exposure to wider business advisory work including accounts and tax related assignments for clients that range in size and industry.



Responsibilities
As a General Practice Accountant, you will...

  • Responsible for the auditing of key clients, including on-site auditing.
  • Prepare a basic set of unincorporated or company accounts with reference to the relevant Financial Reporting Standards/Statement of Recommended Practice and legal requirements.
  • Draft basic corporation tax computations.
  • Provide support with drafting recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion.
  • Working with other trainees to deliver assignments and assisting them with their personal development.


Requirements
As a General Practice Accountant, you will need...

  • Currently studying towards the ACA (will also consider ACCA applicants)
  • Completion of 2 audits in the last year with a turnover of £20m+
