Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for Tray Wash operatives for a vertical farming company in Easton, Norwich. 

START DATE: ASAP

  • Shift Time: 06h30 - 14h30
  • Pay Rate: £11.44 for training period of a minimum of 2 weeks increasing to £12.27 per hour after passing training period.

As a tray wash operative you will be required to work outside under cover jet washing large aluminium crates. Full waterproof PPE is provided. This is a busy area with daily targets on number of trays to be washed.

This can be a varied role in terms of duties (see below), however our client is specifically looking for people to work outside undercover and clean the aluminimum crates using jet hoses. PPE is provided. Once the back log has been cleared then the work will continue as per the below description. 

As a general operative the work will include: 

  • Washing of aluminium steel crates - this job is outside undercover using jet hoses. 
  • Placing of wet mats into aluminium steel crates
  • Manual lifting of trays - up to 20kg 
  • Manual weighing and bulk packing of products
  • Daily hygiene tasks - mopping of floor, cleaning of processing area, general tidying 
  • Preparing production line for processing 
  • Packing of finished goods 

Own transport is essential due to location and shift start time.
