Starting Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Labourer for a client based in the Walsall Area.

Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: Night shift / Monday – Thursday 12hrs

Job Purpose: The ideal candidate will support the current night shift workers in various tasks within our site, requiring the ability to operate angle grinders effectively and safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and precision are valued.

Specific experience - Proven experience as a General Labourer, preferably with specific experience in operating angle grinders.

Requirements
  • Operate angle grinders to cut, grind, and polish materials according to project specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and work areas, including lifting, moving, and positioning materials as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Perform general labour duties such as cleaning, sweeping, and organising work areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors.
