We are currently recruiting for a General Cover Teacher to support a Secondary school in the S72 Barnsley area on a regular part time/ full time supply basis. The school has achieved a "Good" Ofsted rating and prides themselves on raising standards and transforming the lives of their students and staff.

As a General Cover Teacher you would be responsible for covering a variety of subjects throughout the school day following the lesson plan set by the subject teacher. Other responsibilities include managing the classroom, supporting students with learning, building rapport with students, creating a fun and inclusive learning environment and reporting back to the class teacher.

General Cover Teacher requirements:

• (Must) Hold QTS qualification or relevant equivalent.
• (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
• Previous experience teaching KS3/ KS4.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
