Job Title:                    Warehouse Operative

Term:                           Ongoing temporary vacancy with the opportunity to go permanent 

Pay:                             £12 to £13.30p/h 

Location:                    Swindon

Shift:

Rotating Shifts;

1. 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

2. 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday (12pm to 8pm Friday)

Job Description

Our client is looking for Warehouse Operatives to participate in their warehouse operations and activities. The goal is to increase efficiency and give client satisfaction. This role will require the ideal candidate to accommodate to the clients rotating shift pattern, but any workers making an excellent impression and working hard will be offered a permanent role with the company. 

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, store)
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and fully utilise the space available.
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and co-operate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Heavy lifting due to nature of role in relation to company's products 

Requirements

  • Beneficial - working experience within a Warehouse or Distribution Centre environment
    • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills 
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise
  • Able to commute to warehouse for designated shift times
  • Heavy lifting is required
