We are hiring on behalf of an exciting and successful client at Gatwick airport. If you are driven, have good time-management and are looking for a new challenge, then this may be the job for you! Our client is focused on customer service and ensuring that every flight is well stocked so people can travel in comfort. They are the caterer of choice to many leading airlines, so in your role you will be impacting not just the airlines, but their customers as well. As a general assistant you will be joining a fun and vibrant team, ensuring that catering and goods arrive with the airline on time. You will be prepping and assembling the in-flight meals for a range of journeys and clientele.

Pay: £11.44 P/H paid weekly

Shifts are varied. Must be able to work earlies, lates and nights.

Requirements

  • Flexible in your shift times. Must have a licence as you may be required to work unsociable hours
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic numeracy skills
  • Happy to work with food (including pork and alcohol)
  • You will need to undertake a DBS check, but don't worry, we will help you every step of the way!

Responsibilities

  • Handling stock
  • Handling, preparing, and packaging food.
  • Maintaining and clean and safe workstation
  • Cleaning
  • Ensuring your work meets good health and safety practices
  • You will undertake some manual handling as part of your role
