This light2 GCSE Tutorlight0 Opportunity is for a professional tutor and qualified UK teacher to bridge learning gaps, raise attainment and prepare students for their GCSEs.

The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging online learning and a passion for helping students from a range of backgrounds to develop their Maths & English skills.

At Prospero Teaching it is our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for Maths & English tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.


Contract/Position Details:
· Location - Oldham
· Position - GCSE Tutor
· Type of work - Contract
· Start date - ASAP
· Duration / Likely Duration - Until sufficient progression is made
· End date (if applicable) - N/A
· Contract type - Temporary
· Full-time/part-time - Part time (dependent on pupils needs)
· Minimum rate of pay - GBP25 per hour
· Hours - Timetable can vary dependent on pupil availability


Experience, Training and Qualifications of the GCSE Tutor:
· QTS or equivalent
· A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
· Be confident teaching sessions online
· Provide a firm but fair approach
· Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prosperos course

To be eligible for this role, the potential GCSE Tutor must:
· Hold the right to work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child-related references.
